Historically, two separated events were organized one after the other :

• the International R&D Meetings (RIR), organized by ARIIS and AVIESAN, gathering pharmaceutical companies and academic research teams only.
• the International Biotechnology Meetings (RIB), organized by Leem and Bpifrance, gathering pharmaceutical companies and start-up only.
